Terms of use

These terms are the agreement between you and Techly Marketing Limited when you create an account, buy a course, or take one. Last updated 11 September 2026.

1 · Who you are dealing with

Techly Marketing Academy is operated by Techly Marketing Limited (RC 8267001), 18 Peace Estate, Egbeda, Lagos, Nigeria. TIN 32825973-0001. In these terms, “we” and “us” mean that company, and “you” means the person holding the account.

You can reach us at connect@techlymarketing.com or on +234 803 499 5357.

2 · Your account

You need an account to buy a course. You must give a real name and an email address you control, because the certificate is issued in that name and the verification page shows it to anyone you send the link to. You must confirm your email address before you can check out.

You must be 18 or older to hold an account. If you are under 18, a parent or guardian must buy the course and hold the account.

The account is yours alone. Keep the password to yourself. You are responsible for what happens under your account, so tell us promptly if you think someone else has got into it.

3 · What you are buying

A course is a licence to use its materials yourself for twelve months from the day the payment succeeds. That includes the lessons on this site, the workbook, the slide deck, the quiz questions, the lab dataset and the assessment.

Prices are shown in naira and exclude VAT. Value added tax at 7.5% is added at checkout, shown as its own line before you pay, and itemised on your receipt, which is your VAT invoice and carries our RC and TIN. The price you paid is the price of that purchase; if we change a price later, it does not change what you paid.

Where your basket holds all three levels of one track, the full-track bundle price applies automatically. The bundle is priced as one purchase, and it is refunded as one purchase or not at all — see the refund policy.

4 · What you may and may not do with the materials

You may download the workbook, the deck and the dataset, print them, keep them after your access ends, and use what you learn in your own work or your employer’s. That is what they are for.

You may not:

  • share your login, or let anyone else take the course on your account;
  • republish, resell, or give away the materials, in whole or in substantial part, whether or not you charge for it;
  • teach the course to others as your own, or use it as the syllabus for a paid programme, without a written licence from us;
  • scrape, bulk-download, or copy the site’s content by automated means.

If you want to put a team through a course, buy a seat for each person, or write to us about a group licence. It is usually cheaper than you expect and it means each person gets their own certificate.

5 · Assessment and certificates

A course is complete when you have worked through every module, passed the module quizzes, and submitted an assessment that is marked as a pass against the published rubric.

Marking is done by a person. We aim to mark within five working days, and we will tell you if a submission is going to take longer.

The work you submit must be your own. Submitting someone else’s work, or work produced by a tool without your own analysis, is grounds for failing the assessment and, if repeated, for closing the account without refund.

A certificate is permanent and carries a verification link that anyone can check. It stays valid and verifiable after your twelve months of access end. We may correct an error on a certificate, and we may withdraw one that was awarded on work that turns out not to be yours.

6 · Access, changes and availability

We improve courses. Modules get rewritten, datasets get corrected and labs get clearer. While your access lasts you get those changes at no extra cost. We do not promise that a course will stay identical to the version you bought.

We try to keep the site available, but we do not promise it will never be down. If something we did makes a course unusable for a meaningful stretch of your twelve months, tell us and we will extend your access rather than argue about it.

7 · Suspension and closure

We may suspend or close an account that shares a login, redistributes the materials, submits work that is not its own, or abuses another learner or a member of our team. Where we close an account for one of those reasons, no refund is due.

You can close your own account at any time by writing to us. Closing it ends your access; it does not by itself entitle you to a refund, which is governed by the refund policy.

8 · What we are and are not responsible for

The courses teach method. They are education, not advice about your particular business, and nothing in them is legal, tax or financial advice. Several courses tell you to confirm the current statutory position with the relevant Nigerian authority and record the date you checked — that instruction is there because we deliberately do not quote rates, fees or timelines that change.

We are responsible for delivering what you paid for. We are not responsible for a commercial decision you take after taking a course, or for losses that were not a foreseeable result of something we got wrong. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited under Nigerian law.

9 · Changes to these terms

We may change these terms. If a change materially affects what you bought, we will email the address on your account before it takes effect. Continuing to use the Academy after that is acceptance.

10 · Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, and the courts of Lagos State have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
